Shakespeare’s First Folio: Much Ado About Nothing is a poster created as a part of a series of contemporary posters celebrating the plays of William Shakespeare during the exhibition of Shakespeare Library’s First Folio Tour: The book that gave us Shakespeare – held at The William Benton Museum of Art. It was displayed in the gallery as a part of the accompanying exhibition on Shakespeare in popular culture. This typographic solution plays on the complication that is the heart of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing by creating confusion out of simple letterforms.
